Our specialized ultrasound facility utilizes cutting-edge technology to perform all routine and specialized ultrasound examinations with precision. From peripheral arterial Doppler assessments for both upper and lower limbs to evaluations of venous conditions such as varicose veins, venous mapping, and AV fistula assessments (both pre and post-operative), our ultrasound services encompass a wide range of diagnostic capabilities. Our expertise extends to advanced assessments, including carotid and temporal artery Doppler studies, visceral Doppler examinations for renal and hepatic insights, penile Doppler with injection alprostadil (Inj Caverject), musculoskeletal ultrasound for areas like the shoulder, Achilles tendon, and superficial lumps, as well as fetal Doppler and anomaly scans.
Additionally, our facility offers hepatic fibroscan and elastography studies, assessments of all small parts (thyroid, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands), ultrasound eye (B-scan) examinations, and evaluations of parotid and submandibular salivary glands, transrectal prostate, and seminal vesicles. Furthermore, we provide ultrasound examinations for the scrotum and testes. In addition to diagnostic services, NHS Diagnostics offers ultrasound-guided procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic fluid aspirations, liver abscess drainage, psoas abscess drainage, percutaneous drainage of any fluid/pus collection in the body, and pigtail drain placements in larger collections.
